A good racer doesn't become a bad one overnight. There's clearly something about the bike that's not working for Ben right now. Hopefully the team can find solutions soon because we need all the top guys at the front for good racing.

Confidence low - just needs one good result and he will be back up there. Look at Crutchlow - rubbish last year and this year getting good results.

Go for it Ben.

What a catostrophic loss of confidence....sad to see!

Its pretty clear that the bike works as there's 3 riders with divergent riding styles doing well on it so its down to Ben himself and the people around him to get his head back on straight.....you don't lose talent overnight.

Are they all on the same frame? Was there ana off season shake up in the pit crew? What a **** start to the season. Do they have the same limited engine rules as last season? If the engine is a lemon, they can't open it or swap it out without penalty?

. . . absolutely disasterous start for Ben this year, but people saying the guy has lost it are ridiculous, he obviously has some issues with the bike, or maybe in his head, but his potential hasnt changed, its just a question of whether he can live up to it and find a solution.

he does really need to find a solution asap though as Cal looks to have improved ten-fold this year and is obviously really enjoying the 1000, which is fantastic to see for us brits, finally!

Lets hope we see a top drawer battle between Cal and Ben over the rest of the season, it would be great for us racing fans!

pretty useless aint he? please just give up the bike to Crutchlow or Dovi..you aint gonna get any better

Heres the real translation from Ben after the Jerez race " i'm pretty useless at Motogp, i should just go back to AMA or WSBK where i actually have a chance of doing well "
