@UncleSam

Because these questions stem from your own insecurity, of course! Accusing me of being against American riders, for what? Pointing out why Spies is underperforing? Do you realise how silly that is?

Facts are facts, Spies' unusual style doesn't work with these GP machines/tyres. If he wants to have a chance of the title he's going to have to change his style to a more 250cc style, after all the Yamaha is meant to be ridden like a 250, ask Lorenzo and Rossi who were 250cc champions... Crutchlow was the World Supersport champ, so he knows how to use corner speed also....

+Ben will be back, hope he can gain some confidence next week and start to build things back up.

I look at Ben and Nicky and think some times I wish they had a bit more mongrel in them, bit more junkyard dog.
But then who they are is why I like them.

Ben Spies.....

JEEZ.....and the say Rossi has problems, at least he's on a crap bike what's Bens excuse???

Where are the American masses now who claimed he would stick it to Lorenzo and stoner , the SAME thing that happened to toseland is now happening to Spies. I hope he recovers as Motogp needs as much talent as it can get right now but it is now obvious that he's not on lorenzos level and never will be, crutchlow on a works yam in 2013 WHOOP WHOOP

you guys act like he's going like this all year. He was fine in testing and showed speed before the 2nd crash at the first race. He will be fine. I'm not saying he wouldn't lose the seat coming in last every race and it's never good. But I doubt this is it, he's done and will finish last from here on out.

calm down a bit guys. He will rebound in a race or 2. you can't compare this to rossi. rossi hasn't been fast even once in over a year on the duck. well unless you count pouring down rain, but that just reminds us that duc is totally clueless why the bike handles like it does.

I mean besides the top 4 who else has won a motogp race in the last few years? Yes it was a little damp but it wasn't because it was a rain bike change win. and didn't he put a tech 3 on pole at indy? or was in 2nd. that's pretty rare too. All I'm saying is he isn't in gp for nothing. and besides getting old slowing you down. You don't normally forget how to ride a bike.

you could also try to use the past doesn't count augment like with rossi but rossi changed bikes, that needs to be ridden different and can't or won't. Ben is on the same style of bike at least riding style wise as he did well on just a few months ago. so I feel it's more relevant than using rossi's past to try and build him up.

I mean if rossi rode a duc like under steering bike before and won then left and came back. Then yes. but he didn't. so using his past wins to say he can win again on the duc just doesn't do any good.

i see all the backstabbing has started for Ben
now,

when he was racing well most were cheering for him giving him praise, now you are calling for him to get the boot, "team up with rossi you both cant ride"

typical crash posters, cheer for the guys who are winning, when they fall into a slup you kick them while they are down

spies is a huge talent thats obvious to all,he can ride the thousand fast,he done it in testing from he first sat on it.dont know what the fks gone wrong seems like they have gone way the wrong way with set up or something, yamaha are a good team and will fix it,even if they have to ruleover spies crew or chief,he really cant afford for this to go on too long if hes seeking another contract, but these guys dust themselves down ,and will try again on fiday to get it right

Hoepfully Yamaha is sabotaging another American rider just like they did with Edwards. The advertising money for the factory race team would be better gained by a European. Sorry Ol Ben, take your rear end back to the states and ride around on the pathetic stateside tracks. Cal should be occuppying your seat.
