The Ktm had the most powerfull engine, Cortese dont need to cach any rider on the straight to find the speed he need to make best times.. But stil i tinck Oliveira will manage a podium place..

Just been looking up last year's (125) qualifying times and speeds. Cortese is fractionally faster on this year's Moto3 250 than he was on last year's 125, but the really extraordinary stat is top speed - the Moto3 bikes are a full 20kmh SLOWER than the 125s, despite lap times being virtually identical. What is going on? Is it simply a case of good mid-range vs. top end?
