So much for those who were claiming that "Redding is Britain's best rider" and that Smith is "overrated", when he beat Redding on a clearly inferior bike today. I'd have loved to see Redding on the podium, but I'm sick off those who can't seem to realise that there are other factors affecting a rider's performance than their talent alone and feel the need to run down one rider at the expense of another.

That was an amazing last lap between Marquez and Espargaro! Reminded me of Lorenzo and Rossi at Catalunya in 2009. Nice to see Espargaro not afraid to give Marquez a bit of his own medicine.

Great racing!

Based on the first 3 races, Redding is proving better than Smith - he has more points.
And as for Smith being over-rated, 10th is not bad but its still 7 places short of a podium and Smith hasn't exactly been bothering the trophy engravers much since joining Moto2. He may improve but just is not living up to the hype at the moment. Will he be ready for MotoGP next year? On the evidence of 20 Moto2 races, it doesnt seem so.

Amazing last lap!!! Brilliant Espargaro. If Marquez has a better engine We can't say, but Espargaro doesn't have for sure and today he was superb. Let's see Motogp now

Did anybody saw any fun winning celebration after race lately from any class??
Anyone?
Maybe race direction is not allowing that starts this season?
Anyway...all have been fun racing to watch!

@ Equal?????:

The same amount as Thomas Luthi and Espagaro.....

People seem to have very short memories, since last year in his first Moto 2 season, Smith trounced Redding with almost twice as many points. I was about to start giving Redding some praise this year, compared to last year when he seriously underperformed. Redding has started the year riding much better than last year, but he needs to learn how to go fast without arriving at every single corner completely sideways. Riding like that lap after lap, it's no surprise his tires are done half way through the race......
