Ben seems to be struggling with his mental attitude as well as the bike. His confidence level is not good.As much as i like the guy,he has seriously disappointed so far this season.Things can only improve.Come on Ben,get it together.

Confidence is like adrenaline, with it, you can scale a six foot wall in one leap, without it, well you are pretty much screwed.
Hope he gets his mojo back soon, because we need more riders prepared to do battle on the track.

Those 2 crashes at Qatar have really knocked the stuffing out of Ben but if he has to fight a rookie for position for most of the race, he is worse off than even he imagines. He may regain his old form but any notion of joining the elite flying fleas has to be jettison now. Like Dovie, he will be best of the rest, at best.

"Now we go to Le Mans..which is another track I don't love so much!"

Well I've said it before but at this level you just can't have bogey circuits. You have to be strong everywhere.

I still fully expect him to turn things around at some point (Monday's test might help), but these rocky starts to the season are doing him no favours at all.

Hate to see Ben like this. We all know he is not an 8 - 11 place rider. Hoping his mojo comes back soon.

As I've said before, maybe this will end up being his best season, meaning, he really has no points to worry about retaining, only wins will salvage this season. So I'd say when he finally returns to his right frame of mind, we may be seeing a less reserved Ben, and a harder racer that is less cautious!
