"I was able to approach the race knowing what to expect from the bike, and I therefore managed to push harder and get a little closer to the limit" - Valentino Rossi.

Valentino Rossi is a legend in this sport,no question about it.But you can only paint over the cracks for so long.I am hating seeing the great man struggle like this.As a die hard Casey fan i should be revelling in it but no.This union between Val and Ducati has been a monumental disaster. He has had more than enough time to get the Ducati to the podium and Ducati has spent more than enough money trying.Julian Ryder stated on Eurosport today."The Ducati is only capable of fighting for 5th.It cant go any quicker than that"
Sums the situation up pretty well doesnt it?

I think things are slowly getting better considering the Ducati is more or less a complete new bike. The Honda and Yamaha are well established bikes, developed over many seasons by 'money no object' companies. Rossi and co are developing a good bike that isn't as prone to being thrown down the road as Stoner demonstrated on many occasions, once even on a warm up lap!

Seems the Vale knockers don't realise what Vale has done for Moto GP, he has more personality in his little finger than all the other riders put together with the exception of Colin and at times Jorge. Stoner may be on top at the moment but if the bike comes right for Vale then we will see the real GOAT.
P.S felt so sorry for Colin.Get fit asap!

It is funny how the same bike went from unrideable to fun with Nicky's settings. What is he and his team being paid for again?

He has Stoners data and knows what he has to do to get up front, plus a little extra of course if he wants to actually beat Stoner on the Honda

@ Lemmy......... If that was the case then this bike would also be spitting them off with the front end crap issues it always suffered!
Without a shadow of a doubt, this Ducati is on the prowl just wait n see!!!

billace.........Vale does NOT have caseys data and why would he?
You cannot use data from any type of vehicle that has
1...been set up for 1 type of driver/rider and
2...for a vehicle that differs so greatly from another!
WOW thought this would be common knowledge/sense?
