And most of them it seems within the past couple of years, when most racers would maybe be thinking of hanging up their leathers. Amazing.

A true gladiator. It never ceases to amaze and astound me the grit and determination that these riders show in the face of excruciating pain to get up and get on with the show. Such courage and incredible bravery. No other sport in the world compares to bike racing and its gladiators like Colin who are the heart and soul of the sport.

Hope he goes to world superbike next year so his kids can see him win a race. He should have left 2 years when Spies left to the factory squad. He obviously didn't have the speed to compete really. He is one of my favorite riders but it is time to go and not become crippled sorting out a crt bike that probably couldn't podium a sbk race.
