I hope this is just speculation. I would hate to see Rossi leave the sport now. Honda/Yama what are you doing? Sign him back up. You know the public want him back on the front grid. It was great watching the battles between Stoner and Rossi. Whilst he has nothing to prove us viewers would sadly miss him.

Pirelli messing up at WSBK Monza round, and now it seems maybe F1 and it would appear Bridgestone are supplying a tyre that's causing chatter and ruining the races for riders and a lot of teams in MotoGP.

I'm begining to think if the one make tyre rule in these championships has run its course.

Valentino will not retire at the end of this year for the simple fact that he now has something to prove his ability is in question, he is the greatest rider of all the time i think we will all agree, you cant compare stoner, lorenzo etc until they reach the achievments of Rossi so until then theres no argument on whos best, FACT. i am a life long rossi fan i too have been embarrassed by his recent form and even wanted him to retire before he damaged his legacy, but when i read that article on him retiring i felt physically sick!! like him loathe him motogp wont be the same when hes gone

I still stand behind what i told everyone "rossi is a mistake" Duc had the greatest racer ever in Casey Stoner and let there publicity stunt loose w/ the rossi saga.It was over as soon as he thru that goat leg over that Duc.No disrespect to rossi for his accomplishments but there was a reason Yamaha said adios goat and bought in a younger hungrier rider to replace him.Rossi failed,he could not tame the red beast or even ride her,Casey was and still is and will be the best Ducati Rider ever.
