Not disrespecting CV because he most def was a real prospect before his problems but this is a joke.

Saying he was good before is one thing but to say he is good enough to not do anything for a couple of years, be spooked by injuries and somehow still be good enough to go straight back into MOTOGP!!, He was good but not that good. This just makes a joke of the whole class structure of racing. Think how meny other riders would give it a real go given the chance, saying he has set up/electronic experience is tosh, look at what Yonny is doing. This is pure 'who you know' an insult to all the others who are 'on their game'. Sorry, as I say very good rider before but he should be showing he still has it somewhere else first.IMO

I thought he retired... The last two years weren't good for his prestige, but with luck he can take points. Or go to the pits after 5 laps, as usually SBK men who jump on MotoGP machines do.

Between Leon and Chris i had choose Leon but i dont tinck on BMW Wsbk view, Leon is going good at Wsbk and is one Rider that can make a win for the BMW so maybe thats way Leon was not Choose.
I dont tinck Chris is 100% fit but i really Wish him a good race, i was expecting a lot when he joins Kawa and has a Kawa fan i was very sad about is injures..

this is a great chance for him to come back and prove that he is still a rider to wach, he just have to make a clean race because the level on CRT him Motogp is very good and he dont have any tests with this bikes, i guess that the good point on this is that Edwards was developing that bike so at least when he make a run the bike will make sence i tinck=)

Why? He's had his chance, doubt he's anywhere fit enough and there are plenty of up-and-coming racers that would love this chance. I dont care that he's won at Le Mans, that was circumstancial

"makes a joke of the whole class structure of racing"?

Class structure? WTF is that? If I own a team and spend my own money on it, I'll put whomever I dang well please in the seat. There ain't no honor system in racing, there aren't "credits" you build up to "spend" on a seat you think you deserve.

How would it make a difference to put anyone else on it since this CRT is a custom chassis and engine? It's not like anyone in MotoGP right now would have "experience" on this bike.

This isn't the difference between coming up through 125s and 250s versus superbikes in the AMA.

And don't forget Vermuelen won at Le Mans a few years back. If it rains, who knows, that CRT might put a few GP bikes to shame.
