@ dacron
You stated in your post that Rossi has been behind the other ducati's most the season, please explain which races you've been watching because as far as I was aware the season is only 3 races old and he was about 30 seconds in front of the next ducati in the last race.
Try sticking to the facts, it makes it much easier for me if I don't have to correct you all the time.

Boring is an opinion, not a fact.

People ranted on how the last race was boring, not to me. The tension that was at the front, not knowing if Jorge was going to get past Stoner, or if Dani and Jorge were going to fight each other catching up to Stoner was more than enough to keep me entertained.

Watching these guys ride the machines to perfection is amazing. Rooting for your favorite to win helps, but is not a neccesity for entertainment. If you are the type of person that switches off when your rider is not winning, your missing the best part of racing.

GP is incappable of producing the racing seen in lesser series. The gap in talent level is far too great for that to happen. Even if these guys all rode spec machinery there would still be a gap.

I watch moto gp to watch the fastest riders on the planet perform. Fairing bashing, when it happens is just a bonus (like fights in hockey).

It's amusing how people choose to interpret comments made by Rossi. The way that I interpreted the statement about GP being tedious is because of the prototypical nature of the beast. Some of you choose the negative spin regardless of what is/was stated. Such behavior reveals quite a bit about your proclivities.

I think there should be a minimum age for people to make comments - there are too many infantile posts from 10 year olds to read before you find anything intelligent

I don't care that it was Rossi that said it. It could have been Joe Bloggs from down the street for all I care.

The bottom line is that it is true. MotoGP isn't as exciting as WSBK although IMO BSB is the most exciting series.

The majority of people watching these race series do so on TV and not at the circuit itself. On TV the expensive MotoGP bikes don't appear to be lapping any faster than Superbikes and if anything the latter look more powerful as they seem to be more of a handful. It is also true that the Superbikes don't appear on TV to be lapping faster than the Superstock bikes so in tough economic times there is just too much money being thrown into the gutter.

Combine that with the fact that Superbikes look like and have similar names to something you can buy on the Monday after the race and you can see why MotoGP has issues. I don't even think the age old argument of prototype technology filtering down to road bikes still stands as the Superbikes given just enough techni

What was tedious to me, was after Rossi won his second motogp championship for Honda in 2003. During the height of Rossi's career he dominated every race so often that it became boring to watch.
It got exciting again when Stoner and Lorenzo arrived to give him some competition. It's still exciting today because either one of them could win this weekend, with several spoilers in the waiting.

For me this bikes are amyzing and Wsbk still have a long way to go to be has fast has Motogp.. Still the evolution of Wsbk it will be simillar to Motogp.. If you guys wach the best bikes now him wsbk star to used great electronics developments and most of them are provide from the supirior class that is Motogp him terms of technology.. Him motogp almost no limits on finding the best solutions to put the bike running fast on track otherwise Wsbk is allways concern on putting the bikes him equal departments.. The manufactor that rules that is the number 1 have to be on motogp and thats way honda is There oficialy, If they understand that Wsbk was best they have stay there..
Wsbk is only a show of recente technologies for street, all bet that when honda create one new version of the Blade the bike will be on top again just to incresed the sales of the bike
