“What a brawl in the Superbike race... Unfortunately, our races have become much more tedious” – Valentino Rossi.

So Rossi's not being involved at the front means the races are now tedious. IMO sounds more like sour grapes.
And before everyone jumps up and down and soils their nappies and carries on about him being a 9 time world championship, unfortunately in this day and age you're only as good as your last race. From what ive seen motoGP seems to be suited to the younger riders with WSBK for the slightly older.

Often on this forum I see references to Rossi v Stoner at Laguna.

What do you think the result would have been had they swapped bikes on the grid??????

With what we know now, Stoner would have been a minute or so in front of VR (at least)

Let me get this right. Some of you believe that because Rossi is a 9 times world champion that pretty much entitles him to say what he likes, even if it's bull$hit? Or do you mean that whatever he says cannot possibly be bull**** by virtue of the fact that he is a 9 times world champion? I'm a bit unclear how this works. Do you have to have 9 championships or will 1 or 2 do? Then what about his infamous comment "Stoner isn't pushing hard enough". Now that *was* bull$hit and his admission that he was wrong has been well documented with him eating copious amounts of humble pie. So does that mean that everything he says should be taken to be factual by us mere mortal and it's only bull$hit if he later comes out and admits it is? Right, I think I got it now. Phew, not so complicated after all.

What would happen if Stoner swapped bikes with Jorge right now? It can't and won't happen so it's pointless talking about it...

Got to agree with Rossi, the MotoGP races have become a bit tedious and boring. That last one at Estoril made me really sleepy! As for those slating Rossi - I didn't see Barbera anywhere near Rossi at the last race, plus once he tames the aggressive power delivery & can put the power down earlier out the corner I expect him to be battling the Tech 3 guys at least and hopfully regular podiums. Rossi for 2013 Motogp champ then a campaign in world sbk on the cards??... Thanks Vale ciao

Why can't people accept this for what its worth without all the snide comments?
Love him or hate him there is no denying the guy is a fan of the sport and he obviously enjoyed watching some exciting racing....whats wrong with that FFS?
Sadly if he did ever do a season in WSB it would ruin it, not because of what goes on on the track but the paddock would have to be turned into a no go zone to keep the hordes of yellow teenie-boppers at bay.
