MotoGP » Rossi thrilled by WSBK 'brawl', MotoGP 'more tedious'

“What a brawl in the Superbike race... Unfortunately, our races have become much more tedious” – Valentino Rossi.

Can someone explain to me why the Rossi of late is talking so much like a Has-Been.

Lately everything he says about racing is negative, this is NOT what I expect from an Ex- World Champ. He's comments are like if Ali said boxing was boring cuz he no-longer boxes

My concern is that if Rossi is going to keep talking like a Has-Been then that is all he will be remembered for or rewrite what GOAT stands for.
Gee Others Are Tantivy - GOAT and I'm not

I was going to make a comment that was relevant to the story but I can't be bothered due to the trolls and "hooligan" element on here.
Stoner fans/Rossi haters have gotten as bad as the Rossi fans who gave Stoner the bird at Donnington.
Leave it to the footie terraces people and try and string a rational debate together!
Anyone is entitled to an opinion but I will listen to the racers/engineers (you know the people who actually know stuff) rather than the arm chair experts...

Wow, even more hate than normal, of course Rossi is right, anyone who watched the WSB this weekend and has a heart beat had to enjoy it, not the fairing bashing, but the passing, anyone of 5 riders could have won, its was great !!!!. If you would prefer to watch Stoner, Pedrosa or even Rossi pull out a lead and stay there until the flag then there is something wrong. Motogp is boring at the moment, its not the riders fault, Stoner is the best rider on the best bike, thats not his fault but that doesnt stop it being boring. Maybe the bikes are too good, ban the electronics, let the riders make more errors and hopefully close up the racing.

dacron says hes not stupid, gotta take his word for that, but why does he post stupid comments! wsbk has a laid back pace, where do you get that from, did you not see a good race at the weekend, did you not see sykes at monza,at a laid back 339 kph, probably faster than most gp bikes, laid back i dont think, sure tyres keep them over all slower, and tech stuff, but not laid back,as for riders not being fast enough,go tell crutchlow hovering around 4th fastest guy on the planet at the moment, and not that great in wsbk were he got his assss canned most weekends, you need a rethink buddy

I think there are a few facts here.
- MotoGP isn't really a great show.
- Rossi was always part of any action that went on
- At the moment for various reasons he's not doing anything useful on the Duc
- WSBK (and WSS) is a very exciting series with full grids and plenty of action
- Adding Rossi to the WSBK grid would make that series a must see
- If that happened MotoGP would have trouble surviving
- Most people don't much care about the absolute speed or sophistication of a racing bike, they care about the personalities on them and if that bike allows them to express their ability fully.

Personally, I would love to see Rossi in WSBK

@ Sean, How would you know how many races I've won?? I've been into bike racing long before Rossi came along, I have respect for everyone in racing, I don't value you're opinion though, at all. What gives you the right to suggest when one of the most successful riders ever should hang his leathers up?

If you want to compare what you/me are capable of why don't we meet up & go for a ride or do a trackday, lets see your skills!!!...

PS I've ridden on some of the most notorious roads going - TT co**** / Nurburgring / Cadwell Park / Donington Park - Come on - lets have it!!!...

PS3 doesn't count Nick.

Besides nobody're like the rest of us on here....nobody.
Just a fan.

Rossi to WSBK. The only way Ducati will get a win out of him.
