You're being a bit hard on Mahindra! At Estoril their two bikes had top speeds of 214.9 (Schrotter) and 213.2 (Webb). Pedone's Oral averaged 210.3, so either Pedone is not as quick as the Mahindra guys or (more likely) the latter are getting better engines. FWIW, the slowest Honda averaged 210.1 (even slower than Pedone), the slowest KTM averaged 220.8. It's clear from the stats that KTM still have a top-end edge over everyone else, including Honda (the speeds are an average of the best 5 race speeds recorded per rider).
