@bitterbierce

Try reading this part.
“There are many, many things that just over time have taken its toll. The way I see the championship heading. The direction I see it heading and the fact that in 2009 I really realised what is important. It's family. Happiness. Money isn't everything. "

Stoner told it like it is, what a man. But he didnt have all day to explain everything in full detail. He tried his best to tell everything in an interview.

As much as I appreciate the wisdom of Proverbs 12, and I accept that Stoner is far superior to me, I would like to point out one thing you said: "there is no cure for individual stupidity that so many suffer from. . .
who would want there child to grow up and read such negative slander aimed there father!!"

As you and Stoner celebrate your ascendancy over me and the rest of mankind, take a moment to learn the difference between "there" and "their," would you, friend? After all, every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.

this is not moaning. it is simply being blunt and some people just can't take it coz it's the truth.

sad part is dorna will continue with their bone headed moves and take MotoGP down the drain despite being outed by a talented rider.

I think his comments will also be food for thought for Rossi. he is clearly struggling . is the struggle really worth it, vale?

Its always going to be questioned in my mind at least for quite some time to come of future champions, would they have been able to beat Stoner?

Saddens me to think that shadow will be cast over future great riders.

Thank you for that -- I was referencing the quote about the birth of his daughter not affecting his decision, but I did not believe he had mentioned family elsewhere. Apologies for that part.

I'm still vaguely pissed, though. Dammit, I want him to race.
