ive always been a Stoner fan but this pisses me off... Man the f*ck up Casey

ill dare say it... you are a spoiled little sh*t... your parents did everything for you to race and move so you could race.. all you have done is race... i WOULD KILL A MILLION TIMES to get that chance, its all ive ever wanted to do and even though im pretty good im from a small town from a poor family with a **** head father

instead of being a baby crying that nobody respects you and you dont like CRT bikes blah blah blah... how about you man up... revel in the fact people hate on you while you dominate... win no matter what is on the grid and be thankful you got the chance to chase your dreams... and now that you have done what you wanted youre just gonna say f*ck it i dont like this anymore... well Mr.Stoner, you owe it to all the people like me that never got a chance to deal with it and be thankful you are living your dream because there are plenty of us that would do anything to be there and would put

All very dramatic , i reckon it's a worthy story of being made into a movie . He'll probably hit 37 and think it was perhaps a little early to retire , but right now at 26 he's showing his maturity at this time which is IMO is just a little bit dummy spitting , but he'll grow out of that ...

All that said i've watched him since he came to britain and made all our riders look crap and then move on to become the motogp force that we see today . He may not have rossi's GOAT tag but he is every bit as talented , and he may never beat rossi's records but anyone with half a brain can see he is a candidate for the GOAT tag himself .

Happy retirement ..

I have always thought that Stoner has answered media questions honestly, rather than the standard lines that a dribbled out by athletes world-wide ad nauseum.

At his interviews and post race press conferences he has always given us an insight as to what was going on out on the track with both himself and the bike, particularly the challenges he and the team face to get race ready or that were encountered during the race.

This appears to be interpreted by by some fans who are aligned to other riders and teams as being moaning and complaining. It looks through this series of announcements and interviews, Stoner is doing the same again. He was asked "why" and he gave what looks like his real answer. It seems as though some posters on crash would have preferred a standardized response like "it was my time" or something equally as uniforming to appear more meek.

I for one have appreciated his candid responses and will miss watching him race MotoGP.

Good on Casey. I feel sorry for the whole of MotoGP because one of the two best riders left. V with his acid tongue is a has been and Dany is not up to it. Jorge will have it all to his own.

Funny how all the Stoner haters are dribbling on here, just a shame to make you happy he had to announce his retirement might have looked a bit better for you if your man #46 could beat him on the track, but alas tis not to be
