So far this year only Pedrosa and Spies have crashed of the factory riders, Spies being the only rider to have crashed multiple times. Surely he needs to realise that there is something fundamentally wrong with the way he's trying to ride... this should not be happening

I am impressed with Spies previous career as everything he has rode he has mastered and won, AMA, WSBK etc, but its about time he delivered in motogp because getting beat by satellite riders is not good
Just look at rossi he has let his mojo down big time

Checking Ben's lap times he as usual is not pushing until the penultimate lap to register a less embarrassing lap time. This is the opposite from what the flying fleas do. Too tentative I think.

Who knows? Don't you think it's about time that you choose another angle for what's going on with Spies? Continuously bashing his "riding style" is an argument that isn't holding much weight. While there is something fundamentally wrong, I don't believe that it's his style of riding. After all, he showed quite a bit of promise during winter testing.

Amen to that.

I'm going to guess he is going to post no less than 15 times in this thread.

What are my odds?

lol, the argument against my argument holds no water, more like! it's no coincidence that the two least talented factory riders are both Superbike veterans. you're just mad that I'm right.

oh, and using winter testing is a little stupid, seeing as how Rossi was much quicker in winter testing also! i also remember suzuki looking impressive during winter testing, only to fail when everyone started pushing when the season actually starts...lol

Why do you let Ben bother you so much? Just don't read the articals if you don't like the rider..like just think about it for a second- You are picking Ben Spies riding skills apart..the guy could ride a unicycle faster then you could ride a M1!
