@ r..

no need for name calling is there??

So it seems wheel to wheel the record between Rossi and Stoner is roughly equal then.. Doesn't look like Rossi is the wheel to wheel master at all reall especially considering Stoner was stuck on the Ducati for most of the time you mention? Rossi threw caution to the wind in a wet race today and good on him. But the reality is Stoner has a superior head to head win record over Rossi.

With a bit of luck the Le Mans result might give the Ducati riders the confidence to try and stay towards the front in the dry, it would certainly spice up the racing to have more front runners!

Exciting race, wet ones usually are with potential for falls pretty high. Good to see Rossi able to take advantage of the enigmatic ducati and manage the tyres. Can't say the hoardes of zombies that have risen on the back of his relative success today are welcome, but you've got to take the bad with the good eh!
Ben Spies? My my my, what is there to say? The Yam camp must be in knots after the extremes of results they are having this year.

Rossi on the superior Yamaha was still BEATEN by Stoner far too often...

BING !!!

Sorry mate but the Ducati had a speed advantage from 2007 to 2010. The years that Stoner rode it.

No doubts about it Stoner is fast but one lap wonder laps on machinery which is pretty much equal to what Rossi is riding is not going to allow Stoner to consistantly beat Rossi.

Coupled with the made to order Bridgestones which were built for the Ducati in 2007 and 2008 and you have an awsome package. So awsome that all other teams had to use Bridgestones to have a chance of winning. Honda even changed over to them before the end of one season they were so good.

F A C T S mate...

Good ride by Cal and Dovi minus the crash
