Spies claims that water was leaking into his helmet and that he couldn't see anything. It seems hard to believe but it's not the first time he has had problems with his HJC helemt.

Water in the visor may be true too.

But I suspect Spies is having problems with the bike which contractually its the kiss of death for him to mention publicly.

The comments that he's not up to the mark are plain purile, the sort of stuff you'd expect at a juinor school not from adults. Are those posters so pig-ignorant they don't remember his single year in WSB?

Seems true as that was what he was indicating when he came in. Bad advert for HJC.

Arai next year with a pinlock insert. Has never failed me in the rain/winter riding!

Hope Ben sorts his problems out though. He's better than this... Wish someone would do a decent interview with him, but he does seem to tow the company line in interviews, so doubt he would be completely honest...

re: "Does it have to do with the Bridgestone tires???"

yup, carcass design is vastly more compliant. cut them open and you'll probably find a derivation of the dry tires bridgestone originally brought into GP's and worked so well on the ducati. while certainly varied, there aren't a million different ways to create a tyre. that technology's still around (trade secret) and they wouldn't just throw it away. if it works...? it works.

The Dorna feed showed Ben pulling into the pits and somebody came out and wiped his visor then the camera cut away.We not getting the whole story on this. He might have wanted to quit and was told to get his ass back out there. His team boss had no comment to make on MotoGP.com.

Great job Lorenzo thats 4sure.. About the Ducati performing well on the rain.. Aim not professional rider but i tinck its because the Top bikes on this condicions can t used there maximan aceleration power so they have to be slower and thats the point of Wet, the best perfomer is the rider that are trying to control the trotthelr the best way possible for suit the tracion.. Rossi always worck for smooth, Yamaha is one smooth aceleration bike so maybe thats way Lorenzo perform so well aim not taking out is merits because he was great did everythingh well but all bet was more esay for him to control then for Rossi and Stoner.. Ducati for sure have change the electronics for Wet but since Rossi arrive on Ducati he allways try to make that Devil smoother.. He was the Best Ducati for that reasson for me=)
