@Not too quick

KR Snr always said that when you belittle your opposition you also belittle your own achievements. The Rossi fans have never really got that one yet!!!!!

Comparing Rossi to Lorenzo is belittling Rossi's achievements. The young pups upped their game because Rossi has been the target of all the new riders in the modern era.
Lorenzo's career would have taken a very diffrent course had he not been Rossi's team-mate in MotoGP. It's not just about winning, it's how you win and entertain the fans. The key word is racing, not time trial.

Typical arrogant Rossi fan drivel.

To suggest that Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa are only so good because they had Rossi to measure up to is such complete nonsense. They're so good because they came up through the smaller classes having to compete with EACH OTHER while Rossi was swanning about with special tyres on the best bike with Ukawa, Barros, Gibernau, Tamada, etc (notwithstanding that they still managed to beat him occasionally).

So when these guys, especially Stoner as he came through on second tier machinery, hit Moto GP and got decent bikes, they've been capable of running an intense metronomic pace that Rossi just has generally no answer for.

@Differnt level

Purists like you forget one thing, it's meant to be a show. It's entertainment,for God's sake and Sheen is the only rider that ever understood that, till Rossi came along.
No one wants to watch mechanical drones going round and round in circles chasing the clock, however many victories they might accrue.
The same is true in every other sporting endevour. MotoGP is a business and it's survival depends on putting bums on the seats, period.

I believe yamaha have a real problem in the ben spies.

The guy is not up to speed and does like he will be.

A major team decision will in my view should be made.

Here is the real deal. Lorenzo rode a textbook race, calm, cool, perfect. And he couldn't buy camera or publicity time. All eyes were on Rossi. Lorenzo just has to be fuming. The only reason anyone knew Yamaha existed is because Rossi had a battle with them, same with the Honda. That is what sponsors look for.

And dont forget Lorenzo owes it all to Chubba Chubba !!!! Sorry he's no where near Rossi, Ago, Hailwood the list goes on some of the Jorge fan responses here only confirm that in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king..!

Thanks for the sport....! Chubba Chubba !
