He may be not on par with the aliens, but the boy isn't THAT bad, he should be fighting with Dovi and Da Crutch, If not ahead of them. He may have done some mistakes, but it's mostly bad luck IMO.

Anyway, being teammate of a class act like JLo or Stoner must be... hard, let's say.

Feel bad for Ben. Its obvious he has got confidence problems a bit like Toseland had. Hes way better than his results suggest. In the old days he would have ridden round any handling problems. His start was bad but also when he had a front slide later in the race, he reacted like an amateur - feet all over the place. Really hope he can sort his head out and get back to the podium at least,.

US rider normally comes in. teamate immediatly capitulates. all development centred round yank. goes on to spend 10 years near the top.
trouble is the teamate is lorenzo so that plan wont work.
Against the usual dim uk rider it probably would.
