Ben will gain his confidence back..... he's a professional......He'll be fine! He was more relaxed at Tech III. He needs to change that goofy number plate, looks like an arrow, and not 11.

Once he starts getting results, his confidence back and when that happens then all you Dovi, and Cal fanboys will be eating your words! BTW.... Pedrosa should be on that TecchIII bike and not Dovi....

It is way past time to fire his worthless crew.

These fools couldn't setup a bike if it saved their lives.

Ben is one of the best riders on the grid but every round so far his bike has been a piece of junk.

Just like how Rossi is a great rider but he's doing horribly all season except for the wet race because other rider's having issues and can't use full potential of their bikes in the wet.

'and i'm not just talking about this year he far to quickly parks up the bike, a gripe that I have always had about him.'

Say what? I've watched Spies race for years and him 'quickly parks up the bike' is just nonsense. Didn't happen.

Then of course the comments about Hopper or Rea taking his place are absurd. John Hopkins isn't even close to Spies and never has been. Jonathan Rea is a fine rider but got dusted by Ben regularly in 2009.

Having said that, seems pretty clear Ben has got to make big and lasting changes rather quickly and get back to riding.

When Rossi left Yamaha, they didn't give Spies Rossi's place just kind of out some kindness. There was and is big money on the line and very clearly Yamaha saw something in Spies and his long long record of win after win. Kevin Schwantz was on record saying Suzuki was way dumb for letting Spies get away.

Ben definitely well earned his place in MotoGP. Too bad he has got himself in a situation where he is now. I'm very sur

re: "Ben doesnt know how to use the TC, so he has it down, problem is you cant ride an M1 to its fullest with the TC down."

i don't think it can be ridden at all...? lorenzo has demonstrated this numerous times... even has the broken ankles to remind him that rapid fire crossplanes are not to be trifled with.

re: "Not Spies biggest fan, but lets calm it down people. This is a glitch"

that's what i'm screamin'...? you guys are making me laugh with all this ridiculous talk of "confidence problem", "scared to crash". you sure you guys are confusing ben spies with BEN BOSTROM...!?!? LOL

rest assured, spies does NOT lack in confidence. if he lacks confidence in anything, it's in the support he's being given, but NEVER in himself.

re: "Kevin Schwantz was on record saying Suzuki was way dumb for letting Spies get away."

unfortunately, kev (nice enough guy) can be a bit delusional when it comes to brand suzuki. krjr and i...? not so much. hammamatsu did the right thing... the honorable thing. they knew he (ben) wasn't coming to "coast" and they knew they (suzuki) weren't prepared to give a rats in "support". i've been banging this drum going on a decade. only after they cancelled christmas, did people finally cash their "reality checks"... well some anyway.

Just my opinion..

I think Ben had too much expectation that the 1000s will be radically different than the 800s.. They are not..!! He rides on a way lower TC interference mode than Jorge.. Just look at all the wobbles, slides and the way the bike takes a corner.. As pleasing it may be to watch but it's not making him go any faster.. Maybe the Yams are bound to be on max TC.. That coupled with lots and lots of bad luck is not helping his cause..

I am just an outsider.. I don't know the exact and all the causes.. But I sincerely hope Ben sorts it all out.. He is much much better than is currently showing..
