I'm with jimmy jimmy on this one. I think i speak for the whole crash.net community when i say that i sincerely believe that the Rossi haters, lovers, Stoner haters, lovers and Lorenzo haters, lovers etc need to find it in themselves to put there differences behind them and find some common ground.
So if we could all start off with agreeing that Valentino Rossi is the Greatest Of All Time, that would be great.

@ Jimmy,

That's a different topic. I wasn't comparing two different riders in two different years, but comparing the performance of the same rider on the same bike, in the same year, with the only changing variable being rain/not rain.

And I was wondering if really the Duc is "good" in the rain or if it's just that, the rain being an equalizer, it simply allows Rossi to do what such amazing racer can do: putting on a show racing at the front.
Looking at the other Duc in rain/not rain conditions, I tend to believe it's the second option, but I'm not 100% sure.

For the record, I'm a Rossi fan and I do believe he's one of the greatest ever, but I'm not yet 100% sure he's not over the hill. This is a tabu topic for many fans, but I don't think it should be, declining performance is a law of nature nobody can escape.
Moot point though: performance in the rain makes you believe he still (at least partially) got it.

Caption competition...

Vale, would you do me the honour and accompany me back to my motorhome where we can crack open a can of beer and talk about motogp in general and my career in particular.

It won't take long

Yawn this race is not even fair comparison... whats the fuzz anyway?
So lets not to saying that Rossi's wet skill is better than Stoner's, simply wrong. Casey remain the men to beat wet or dry, and there are facts behind that. It's not like there will be someone beating him fair and square again and again and again. Impossible at the moment

I wonder if apart from mutual respect this is also a follow up to Doohan trying to stop Stoner from retiring... Rossi knows very well he controls the media in motogp sense. Dorna trying very hard I suppose? I wonder what comes up next...

And talking of the eurozone crisis, what crisis ? Greece has categorically stated that it will pay its debt back in 11,350 years time. Whats the problem with that ?

lol

Reminds me of a recently modified funny lotto joke....
Did you hear about the New 30 Million Euro Greek Lottery?
The winner gets 3 Euro a year for a 10 million years.
