@ ColinYoung

I don't remember Stoner "shieting" on any rider that haden't (a) taken him out of a race or (b) done something incredibly dangerous.

What part of "I love this sport, but I don't like the direction it's heading" don't you understand? (I totally agree with him on this point)

Damn right 2013 will be less without him especially the fans watching at the track (perhaps you should go to a GP, he is quite amazing to watch live)

Bubble head shakes? lol! really are sad!

@Colin Young. You seem to need a circus with your racing. The 'bad man' is leaving the show this year and then all the little pixies will have to find another of the stagehands to become fall guy. The poor old stagehand wont be able to handle being in the centre of the ring as all he ever wanted to do was clean up elephant p0o and now he has to do handtands in the ring. Some were made for the stage and others accept it as part of the job. When you saved all your greensheild stamps up and realize you have enough to stop being a slave to the ring, you leave. Funny as thats just what the stagehand has said AND HE STILL GETS IT IN THE NECK FROM THE KNIFETHROWERS because they never saved enough stamps or got to do enough handstands centre stage..

@Gate Crasher:

your point about not having a personality is stupid in the extreme, he just does not suffer fools gladly, his non personality as you put it got him a cracking girl friend and fan base, guess you did not fare as well never mind.

You do seem a very angry and confused young man.

The mutual backslapping between them and kindly words were as good to witness as the race itself.
However,the hatchet does not get buried in a twinkling of the eye. Scar Tissue.
If the Rossi/Ducati combine get it togther with the new engine/electronics package etc by Laguna and the Honda/chatter/Bridgestone issue is resolved by Laguna and if Rossi gets into another dogfight with Stoner.
Well,revisit this Le Mans moment in time with fond memories.
This was a moment of 'weight off the shoulders' for both of them, not a permanent fix for the deep rooted antagonism that lurks beneath the surface. Neither was that moment a fix for backers of either rider.

Rossi is playing mind games with Stoner again.

Any you guys ever see the montage of photographs after the Jerez incident? On the walk back to the pits Stoner stopped at each corner and stiff armed Rossi.Have you all forgot about Laguna.

Sorry but Casey announcing his retirement after 3 races has done him no favors at all.

Kevin Schwantz writes this about Casey quitting MotoGP.

I guess what I don't like the most about Casey and his retirement is, that now he's taking the opportunity to bag a sport, or to ditch on a sport that has given him so much. "Yeah," Casey will say, "but I've given just as much back." Yeah, but we all do. It's something that we love. It's something that's given us an opportunity to make a really good living. But if you just don't want to do it any more, you don't have to have something to beat up on, to be able to give you a reason to walk away. If you're going to quit, just man up and quit. If you don't want to do it any more, then retire. That's your choice. But don't continue to talk trash about a racing series that is the premier two-wheel motorsport in the world, and has a long, long-standing history of great competition, great champions. Tip your hat and walk away from the sport and be graceful about it. Don't talk sh*t.
