Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general consensus is that Randy got shafted when Elias got the LCR ride, and I agree. Riding the Duc may have hurt him more than anything in his career so far.

Randy was damn fast on that LCR Honda until he broke his leg. Awesome to watch at Silverstone in 2010, he was second only the Stoner for pure speed and aggression in riding the bike. Was gutted when he went to Ducati.

On a different note, I too wish they'd bring back Randy Mamola on Eurosport. Spalders has good technical knowledge but Christ his voice is dull and monotonous.

Some say they cant understand why RdP is on a CRT, and that he deserves a better bike, factory bike as he's a great rider blah blah......

Although i like DePuniet, i am however on the opposite side fo the fence and cannot understand why he is still in moto gp and seems to get chance after chance. His results have been no better than (or even worse) than some others that have been kicked out of moto gp.

107 races, only 2 podiums, and has finished the seasons in 16th, 11th, 15th, 11th, 9th and 16th.

Yes some people think he deserve a prototype or even worse a factory one at that!

You have to take into consideration what bikes he was riding when considering those results. Satellite ducatis(career killer for all but Stoner). Kawasaki zxrr(no need to describe, but did get on the podium in motegi one year I believe)LCR Honda(and put it on the front row several times, and a podium at donington)He never got a factory ride or special backing from Honda at LCR unlike Dovi or pedrosa. He crashes a lot but I think things would be different if he were on one of those teams that did have a better track record or tech 3 yamaha. you guys seem to forget the repsol aprilia 250 days where he was a considerable threat and beat Dani, Casey and Jorge on occassion.
