I think we can all agree that the championship would benefit greatly from a more competitive Ducati.
I'd like to see the same riders on the podium as Le Mans regularly, but shuffled up from race to race, and a few battles to sort out those positions.

I can dream....

Germans vs Japanese? Surely Rossi will have finished turning the duke into a Japanese bike by the years end? IMHO whatever he does now, this is no Italian bike he's riding and again IMHO if Audi turn it into a German bike, it'll be an even greater travesty.

Indeed test times of 1'49"3 have been stated on gpone site... But just as in FP this doesn't mean anything... We don't know what they are trying to do... I don't think that they are going to do qualifying laps right know... Rossi did 55 laps in 4 hours of testing, impressive.... They will come up with a solution... Ducati can't afford to loose rossi at this point... They will have to come up with something... Pressure is on for ducati, they are gonna have to deliver...

I don't get this mentality. Ducati need to use modern technology if they want to compete with the other teams. The tried and tested chassis for the last couple of decades has been the deltabox but they can't use it because it isn't Italian enough?

If Ducati have to use narrow angle V four, pneumatic valves etc. to get on terms with the dominant Asian teams then it is a price worth paying.

I don't enjoy seeing them getting trounced every week and I hope they can turn things around.

Don't mention the fluke year of 2007 when a great rider and a variety of other things went their way...

IMHO I would rather see real racing if different bikes each with their own special advantages and character. This is motogp. I don't have to mention 2007, Stoner made that bike sing, and it was something to see. I would rather see him enter a turn with the revs all wrong, the bike spitin, squealing and howling with the wheels out of line, going far to fast, only to see him hook it all up at the apex, stand the bigger up and fire it out once then watch a whole race of same make racing. Spectical and passion please! Don't get me wrong though, a good scrap is a nice thing to see as well, but I can fight, I can't ride like Stoner.
