@Gaz
What exactly did Rossi do that warrants the description acting like a snake or words to that effect.
Honda said they didn't need him and that anyone could win on their bike. So Rossi had a few meetings with Yamaha to set up a deal. Left Honda to join Yamaha at the end of the season. Biaggi and Barros left Yamah saying they will never win a Championship with that bike and that Rossi was crazy . They signed for Honda Rossi whipped their a**e and the rest is now history. So what's your problem .

Stoner giving Cal tips earlier was interesting. Could stoner be allowed to recommend a rider to HRC? "Cal the brakes on yours are the same as mine" could this mean "if i were you id stick to what you know cos the Honda has the same?" hmmm....

Please Marquez isn't ready for a factory ride. Jorge jumped straight on probably wasn't quite ready but learned very quickly and two years later won the championship. Because of this rule I don't think a championship will be won quite so quickly.

There are two factory places up for grabs. The way Spies is going and assuming his contract also ends this year I don't think he will get a factory ride next year.

HRC will first try for Lorenzo. I think Rossi would be a last option for them. And for Rossi, if Ducati can't give him a good ride by end of the year he would go back to Yamaha, though I think it's not his style of leaving Ducati without solving it's problems, Age is against him and if he wants to win more championships a factory ride with Yamaha or HRC is the only way to go. However I hope Ducati gives a good ride for him and hope he wins a championship with them... I think Crutchlow might get a spot in Yamaha if he keeps up his current form and Bautista / Bradl have a good chance of getting into HRC.

Why would they give it Barbera, he needs to get a tow in order to qualify... balls is a dangerous substitute for brains, just look at Mr Rea in Superbikes... Don't need any more of that in international racing!!!
