I am hoping (and believing) that Stoner will change his mind about retiring, the same way he changed about racing in Japan last year, and stay because...He will have competion from Lorenzo and Rossi. I hoped last year that the Ducati would have been competitive right from the start but as you know 2011 has gone. I really don't know what to expect with the new updates, etc that Ducati is adding to the bike but I hope it will be the beginning of the end of staying in the middle but move to the lead group of the pack!

@moto
Rossi has a few more fans that are true motogp fans, all the world champions I can remember have jumped ship at some time.
Pedrossa will have to lift his game big time to catch Jorge.

Given the trouble teams are having to get sponsors, I bet both Honda or Yamaha would be happy to have Rossi back (especially Yam who've not had a "big" main sponsor since Rossi took Fiat away).

Lura: rookie rule, Marquez can't go into the offical Respol team.

My money on Lorenzo to Honda... they've got the deep pockets. Pedrosa out (not sure who'd replace him), I like Dani but I don't think he'll ever win a MotoGP title.

why isent Casey's name on there? he's not gona retire! this is all about the money!!! he is making 1/3 the amount what rossi makes, and gets little to no respect... Rossi could pic his nose in public and get more press then when Casey wins a race lol...

This is about the money, just a marketing ploy to get Honda to step his paycheck up to 10+ mil... you watch and see... Casey will be back!
