For the people wishing bad on Ben:
The way to success is not through other peoples mistakes.
And who gives a rat's ass where a rider if from? Let me remind you, this isn't football.
I am no big fan of Ben, but I sure as hell don't want him to do badly. These guys work hard, these days the bike has to be almost perfectly set up, because there are others with an almost perfect setup.

To everyone giving him hell for wanting to turn thing around:

Wasn't Rossi expecting a better round EVERY ROUND last year? Then a better 2012? (Granted that has happened now, but remains to see how permanent that improvement is).

The same goes for someone asking how talent like that can just "drop off".

Rossi's talent all but VANISHED at the end of 2010. But he can definitely still ride a bike.

GIVE THE GUY A BREAK!!! I can almost guarantee his job involves more danger, stress and expectation that ANYONE on this thread... He'll be back up there.

just win again been so all these knuckleheads can eat their own pie again. He's in a bit of a slump, so what. He's still the only one to beat the aliens in the dry thus far.

Spies needs to shut up. Let his race do the talking instead. He used to be my favorite but toooo many promises and excuses made me sooooo disappointed. Nonetheless, Good Luck on your next race!

quote...'He's still the only one to beat the aliens in the dry thus far.'

Thats incorrect.

RocketR1.....'why so much hate towards Americans?'

I dont think its that people 'hate' the riders. I would harzard a guess that its due to the fans of American riders (some of them).

This site seems to have a huge concerntration of intolerable fans, and yes every rider has a few intolerable fans, but it seems that American riders seem to have more intolerable fans than most. These fans dissapear when their rider of choice is struggling but are quick to chirp up when other riders struggle.

Its the same with many sports though, not just moto gp, so its nothing new.

Good comment @Hemmy !!!

When Rossi performs well quite a few one eyed Stoner fans are nowhere to be seen. And vice versa.

IMHO there is probably a few problems.
1. Ben is a heavy rider. Just look at what Rossi has had to do to remain competitive, i.e Mr stick man.
2. Setup issues.
3. The competition is very high for the first six spots in motoGP.
