I've been a fan of Spies for a long time. I really hope he can turn it around. A little concerned though....remember Lin Jarvis' comment....

"Jarvis also talked about Ben Spies....... “Except for his victory at Assen Ben's results have been disappointing and I'm sure he's also be disappointed and dissatisfied. I hope that this year he'll be able to do better and be more consistent as he clearly has the potential. Being consistent is everything. Casey won ten races so he's consistent, but Jorge was always there. Apart from a couple of errors he was always ahead and if did not win he was second or third. That's what's you have to do. You need luck and preparation, not make mistakes and be focused. Those are the things that Ben clearly has to work on this season.”

Yet he's gone backward's this season. Not looking good.

Not a great fan of Ben's but it would be nice for him to be a little closer to the sharp end just to give a better perspective to how Cal and Dovi are doing. Also the spectacle of these three going hammer and tongs with Rossi into the mix would be a recipe for great racing.

Pure Ben used to beat Dovi, Sic and sniffed into wins and podiums, with a satelite bike, the pre season see Ben bothering the top 3 all the time, what has fallen apart in Ben's garage I'd really want to know because this just don't make sense.

Best of luck this weekend Ben!

I doubt that having a playboy bunny as a girlfriend over 5 years ago would have much impact on his racing psyche today. Though there may be a connection, as dePuniet has thrown his mount down the road quite frequently since he began dating his playboy bunny. Nonetheless, I imagine that the majority of posters here would endure the same hardships, as they are, to come home to ladies like that!

Just look at EVERY post on Ben lately. Before any of his "fans" even get a word in, you have 2 pages of (mostly) British and maybe some Aussie trolls talking talking huge trash on the guy. What do expect from the fans? Yes even the most biased Texan can see that Ben is not performing to nearly the level that we expect from him. Gee why would we expect good results? . . Because he has achieved them numerous times in the past. I swear the collective fan base on this site has the memory of a goldfish. If the result don't come at all this season then at this point i see Cal as the logical alternative. But really, give the guy a chance. His record should command at least that amount of respect

Being a Fan of JT I could go back on my comments and pull some pearlers of hate posted by many Mericans on this site.

Ben got Rossis bike last year and MAYBE benefited by a bike that was already set up perfectly, this year with the new Yam his team (house and co) are not up to the job and they all need sacked,I certainly think he needs more qualified people round him.Bens performance should not of dived like this, impossible.
