Ok, power slides means lesser electronics as stated by the stoner fans. So, all riders use less electronics since all of them slides the bike in every now and then. I get it now. Thanks stoner fans for enlightening us. And by your analogy, Rossi is the master of all since he has been sliding bike and even cars for a whole lifetime! And also, stoner has been using more electronics since he wasn't able to slide his bike at lemans?

Look, I don't hate Stoner or anything, it's just his fans making him out to be something he's not. If he was the God at sliding like they say he is, how come he didn't beat Rossi at Le Mans. These were the perfect conditions for someone who cut his teeth on dirt bikes and perfect for natural controlled power slides! Nuff said....
PS Traction control will not stop slides. Randy DP needed it at the start of the Le Mans race lol. It will stop your wheel spinning, not sliding!

"Several people, including Nicky Hayden and Stoner's crew chief Cristian Gabarrini have confirmed to me personally that Casey Stoner uses less traction control than other riders"

Wow! All teams, mechanics, and riders show their data to Cristian? That easy eh? So, Cristian have seen all the data of all the riders on the motogp grid? So he is comparing notes on a race weekend rather than work on stoners bike? I wonder if he could still find time to spy on other garages. He's a stoner mechanic? Could he also be a fan?

because
it took all honda rider half race distance to get the tire up to temperature, unlike yamaha
while ducati stiff/swing arm chassis help to heat up the tire quicker
ducati can fight on the wet because on wet race ducati rider doesnt have to lean, as low as dry race so ducati have more grip

if u notice unlike pedrosa casey manage to cut time closer to lorenzo
but not long after that the rain stopped and there's less and less water on the track which made casey/honda rider over heat the rain tire thus casey have to change his riding style more upright because all rubber on the side is already gone/shredded, that's why his fight with rossi is limited by out of traction

gradfafa
nobody here is mecahnic of casey unless somebody trully is!?
reading u said that
If some of you are so close to stoner as you claim, or have real first hand knowledge of whats going on, then tell us who you really are so that we would believe you and be done away with the arguments

it's clear that u dont

@Tax Dodger
Your're wrong, I do ride a road bike. What about you? So, what you're saying is, with the traction control switched on, as soon as you slide you will be high-sided? Best keep it turned off then eh?

Absolutely history will be just a record and Stoner will be finally forgotten. But that would be at least a few more years after he has left. Long enjoy Stoner the king of 2-wheel power slide! I will wait to see whether Marquez will be as good as you.

Grandfafa...you have to have the worst logic I have ever read in any forum. Strawman arguments are not a way to prove a single thing. Stoner uses less traction control than most other, if not all other, riders currently in MotoGP. That is a verified fact as spoken by people in the know whose job it is to report on the sport. Stoner himself said before the season that the 1000cc will allow him to decrease the electronics even more. When interviewed at Qatar he said he reduced the electronics each session and went faster as a result. Post race, when asked about sliding, he once again said it can only be done by reducing the electronics. No other rider currently slides it like Stoner at corner 3 of Philip Island or corner 3 at Valencia. You can watch and see for yourself. Try logic, not abuse.
