Dani, just beat your team mate so Lorenzo can build a bit more of a lead as Casey is always so tough in those Asian races.

This guy is the dark horse as I think Casey will have a tougher time now that he's announced he's leaving and the fans and journo's will have him out.

@ hoppy

Well said! I find it funny how people dismiss Dani because he doesn't have a premier class title (despite his impressive stats), but they hump the legs of riders who barely have any race wins (if any!).

@Realist - I don't dismiss him because he doesn't have a world championship, I dismiss him because unless he gets away at the front, he doesn't win - he just appears to fold under pressure. He'll win a couple each year no doubt but ... I'd bet against him winning a WC.

That having been said, he's a great rider and deserves whatever he gets but Stoner and Lorenzo seem more motivated / able to win.

@ Far Canal

Or not prone to, or unlucky enough to be sidelined by, injuries. I think injuries have kept Dani out of title contention on a number of occasions (while conceding that it happens to many a racer). The "get away at the front" applies to Stoner, Lorenzo, and many others too. It isn't just Dani!

@Realist - good point - the runaway at the front thing does apply to most of them (and unfortunately makes for some pretty dull racing)- fingers crossed for a good race this weekend.
