@ roemer, damien, and a few others

Be careful! Whenever it is mentioned that somebody else can do what Stoner does (..and sometimes better), Stoner fans interpret that as trying to slight Stoner.

@ pencap80

Get to a track, work on your body positioning, carry more corner speed, and practice. Getting your knee down is easy (although you shouldn't be entirely focused on that). :)

why can some people not just appreciate talent when they see it and to me it doesn,t matter which rider it is as i respect all of them for what they do . Im not a great fan of stoner but i love watching what he can do on a bike and will miss him next season. i love watching gp and respect all the riders from the front of the grid to the back as an x racer at lower level i know these guys all have big balls and can behave how they like off the track i only care how they ride on track

Elbow down is becoming more and more common on track, even on Supersport bikes with treaded tyres, I wonder how long it is before road riders on street bikes get elbow sliders on their leathers similar to knee sliders? Don't think I'll waste my money though, I've got scuffed knee sliders from roundabouts and the occasional corner, but I'm miles away from any elbow down madness. I can foresee groups of riders congregating on good roundabouts filming each other trying in the near future at this rate!

@ Daveyboy

Already been done. I've seen riders/racers and control riders on street bikes get their elbows down in a corner at turn 5/6 at Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California (assuming that you're familiar with the track layout).

The turn is off camber, so this is the thing to do is u have corner speed. If its normal camber thats a low side normally.

Also I think Stoner is playing around, probably experimenting. This isnt his normal style I think. During fp i see alot of riders trying out different things all around. I mention before seeing Hayden sideways from braking point far out, Rossi exit on 1 wheel etc, they are all during fp...

CrackingPhoto! Definitely gonna be missed. Im not his biggest fan by any stretch, however i will miss photos like this and near perfect races. You cant deny the guys talent.

Oh, and as we're also commenting on who else touches the ground with various random body parts, i can't believe noones mentioned Tony Elias!
The guy pretty much wipes his butt on every single apex!!
