MotoGP » Valentino Rossi watching the weather

“The forecasts say it could rain tomorrow, and of course we know that we can do well in the wet” – Valentino Rossi.

Rossi is actually the fastest in the 1st sector.

But they don't just need some upgrades I'm afraid, they need something revolutionary.
On the other hand, after 50-60 updates, you might have changed everything and that wouldn't be bad either :).

If Ducati have to rely on wet weather to get results, they are in serious trouble.I dare say they will be doing a rain dance again tonight.Shouldnt have to be like this after all the money that has been spent on this bike.

to all haters
the duc has improved a lot on cornerning.U can see duc riders now entring corners aggersively now thry hav to improve corner exit and acceleration mgmt.
to all those who said rossi can never develope duc are idiots.
I am a die hard rossi fan and i do wnt rossi to win a WC again but i also want that he develope duc to max.for this he have to remain in duc for 2yr more.i know he has very very less to win wc on duc.BUt he can develope duc so other duc rider are competing.
i gurantee if rossi remain in duc in 3-4 yr duc will be at par with jap bikes even more becuz of its power(Shear TOP SPEED).
If he cant win WC on DUC he will make sure that some duc rider will definitly win WC in 5yr to continue his LEGACY.

@ drifter

I agree with you about the improvement in cornering ability and front-end feel/confidence. People have short term memories. Now that there is more confidence up front, they can more fervently address the rear and the power delivery. I do believe that the reason that Rossi is able to successfully "aid in the development" of any given bike (..worded very carefully for the semantic/rhetoric thread police) is because his front-end style is also the same style employed by most riders. If he can achieve success, it is almost certain that riders below his ability will be able to comfortably ride the bike.

Rossi's got little to gain and a lot to lose by going to Honda or Yamaha. Can he really take on Lorenzo or Pedrosa head to head on the same bike anymore? And if he can, and wins an eighth title, he'd still be the man who quit the big challenge at Ducati. I think he'd be better off staying at Ducati and trying to win with them, in terms of preserving his legacy.
