I guest what is left for Stoner team is to reposition the ballast since the extra weight caused all of this problem to RC213V.

When I saw Pedrosa wheelie on the straight, I'm realizing that both of them position the ballast not on the same place on their bike.

Paddock gossip.....
Unprecedented numbers of dissafected Stoner fans have been logging onto HRC Hondas " i don't know who casey is anymore " website.
Shuhei Nakamoto, sitting on a very large bag of cash in Valentino Rossi's motorhome had this to say....
We offer a complete recovery pathway. We must give back these chronically misunderstood individuals there sense of proportion and dignity. Theyv'e lost all confidence in Casey. Its very sad to see.

From Twitter a quote from Casey via Matthew Birt:

"Casey Stoner: "I didn't have the pace today, simple as that."

How is that moaning and how is that blaming the team or the bike? That is what I are wrong once again.

Once again ignorance is in great supply. Stoner does more than a race length on the tyres. He does not stick a new lot on everytime he goes out for a few laps. His riding style makes him more prone to chatter. The chatter is worse when the rear grip is better as it pushes the front. You used to see this in qualifying back when they used one lap wonder stickies. Some people would go slower as the front was pushed too much. Stoner did have a different profile but the same compound as the other "hards" Danny had the same profile as Stoner. They took an educated guess and got it wrong. Same as Rossi has done countless times. It does not mean he is slower than last year or any less hungry for a win.

Regarding saying his bike isn't a problem cause Dani rode fast is a little off since they both have their own crews and ride different so setup could and is way different between the two. Electronics play a big part so even since the engine and body is same (or similar), setup of bike hardware and software will be different.

Plus his mental state might play but look who owned in qualifying. He did a time 9 minutes into qualifying that took like 30 to 40 minutes to better. I thinktyre choice played a big part for Casey personally, he just couldn't use the 'bonus' of hard choice in the cooler conditions, he has had major chatter problems this year plus both Repsols looked bucky on braking. Hoping some people commenting actually watch the race along with practices + qualifying.

Here are direct quotes from Rossi. Sound familiar? 13/04/2009 2nd to Stoner. Today the conditions of the track were quite different to before and we encountered a couple of small problems related to tyres. 26/04/2009 2nd to Jorge. -but there was part of the race that I wasn't quite able to ride like I wanted, there was some kind of problem-31/05/2009 3rd to Casey and Jorge.-we made a mistake and chose a tyre that was too hard, so it took me a long time to be able to put enough temperature on it and I lost a lot of time. 05/07/2009 2nd to Dani. Second is good today because we were not in perfect shape here, we missed something in the setting. 04/10/2009 4th to Jorge, Dani and Stoner. I was never able to be fast because I did not have enough grip in the rear and our tyre did not work well- 02/05/2010. 3rd to Dani & Jorge. We have struggled all weekend, first with my shoulder and then with the bike. I tried to go with Dani but then I started to slide a lot. 23/05/2010 2nd to Jorge. -we ha

"Difficult for Stoner and his fans to defend a performance like that. But Casey being Casey will not take any responsibility for it. He will blame his bike or his crew as always. Its nothing new."

Lctanner, is this meant for Rossi's post? casey just finished a few tenths behind the podium spot despite having a bad race. and it's just the 5th race. it's not like casey is going to finish 7th in races and keeps blaming the bike- the power delivery, swingarm, front end, electronics blah..blah..blah.
