Tyre issues aside, or maybe because of them, its starting to look like the Yamaha might be the better all round package this year. Dani is showing none of last years pace, Casey is getting poles, but only just and struggling to convert them to wins.
Jorge is looking confident and for good reason, he has had great pace this year. Even the non factory Yamahas are looking threatening, should make for a great viewing season!

re: "I think Jorge's pay offer just doubled from HRC for 2013."

despite the commentator chat, other than a cursory glance, i don't think HRC are even interested or will offer him anything... nevermind double. just don't see j-lo as one of the accepted and elite "repsol spaniards"...? (to puig's chagrin) they're most certainly targeting "all marquez all the time", but i guess we'll find out.

Has anybody got any doubt why Yam picked JLO to be their NO1 rider in 2010? if you still have doubts you did not see yesterdays race, I am a stoner fan but that ride was pure class. And the Yam the best bike by a mile.

Looks like the Yamaha's have found a bit of top speed. JLo was able to hang with Pedrosa down the straightaways! Even Dovi and Crutchlows Tech 3 bikes were keeping the Repsol Honda of Stoner pretty honest! Hopefully the aliens will continue battling front start to finish!!
