MotoGP » Bautista sixth after pulling 'Rossi pass' on Rossi

Alvaro Bautista gets pleasure from his overtake on Valentino Rossi, which mimics the pass the 'The Doctor' used to beat Jorge Lorenzo to the 2009 Catalunya Grand Prix win.

I'll like to see Alvaro Bautista to replace Casey Stoner next year. Marquez won't be ready for factory bike next year because of MOTO GP Rule. Marquez stays a year at San Carlos team and Alvaro Bautista rides for Repsol Honda in 2013.
Last year, he was doing pretty job on SUZUKI bike.
He is underrated rider and he can win Championship.

No, sorry, he's a good rider but no HRC material.

No bashing or anything, but you have to be at least one of the top 3 riders to get that seat, and he's not in the top 3.

With all due respect to Alvaro, I just believe it's much much easier to do that on that particular corner on the first couple of laps when everybody is bunched up, people is not thinking bout defending a pass there on the first lap, they thinking more bout the all picture, 25 laps, vs when its just the two of you going for it on the last lap, last corner. It takes more that just skills.
But, good job though to hold up the great man!

That was a magnificient move, don't be such a downer. Only Bautista and Rossi himself have been able to overtake in that corner with a motogp bike. Alvaro's races, even if he's still slower than Aliens pace, are often entertaining to watch at least.

It would be great to see him getting better results in qualification because Bautista's a ballsy raceday kid. He's not afraid to overtake.

Good mindset.
