Looked like Ellison had a good race pace and was running with the rest of the CRT bikes. I believe once the bugs are worked out he will be giving the rest a run for their money....good race James, and good luck in the season...........

Am I the only one thinking the CRT's progress, which looked REALLY promising when RdP got on the bike the first time, has somehow stalled...? They've almost become happy to sit and have their own "championship".

I would love for them to race against a few prototypes, but they're nOT READY to do that. I'm sure they will get quicker and quicker, but Casey's imminent retirement comes as a somewhat rude awakening. This is NOT the championship he and his family sacrificed so much for to get to. It is becoming a big cost cutting exercise, rather than a technological exercise. DORNA NEED to focus on what originally made the championship GREAT!!! It is no longer "Great" because of the level of racing. SBK is a MUCH better show, and not much slower at all. BRING THE FACTORIES BACK!!!!!!!!

Stoners parents are not the only parents to make sacrifices for their kids to get into m cycle racing and I bet stoner has not had to make personal sacrifices like many British riders have had to and are still doing so . He is very talented but so are thousand others

ELLISON was second fastest rider in CRT class he is getting there . He has had no testing pre season. I hope today proves they do not need Shane on bike. Let him go back savely to bsb and concentrate on championship .

James Went faster than De Puniet in race just behind Hernandez. He is getting more used to the Bike and hope he can keep the pace and secure some more Parc Ferme 'visits' before the end of the Season.

Shakey testing Jellison's bike is a good prospect. Neither riders are mugs and SB will probably confirm what JE has been telling the team. If Shakey can give pointers to improve the bike then James will benefit.
However, I can't help thinking Paul Bird might be thinking seriously about having both riders in a two-bike team for next year, and the test may have more significance than appears on the surface.
