Can't wait to see how it will all pan out during the British GP weekend. Hope the Weather stay consistant either Wet - Dry - Cool or Hot for all the 3-days, thereby we can be surely gauge how much each team has progressed by so far by overcoming their specific issues.

@ pcxmac

It'll be interesting to see what Showa can do because I was not satisfied with the chattering Showa's on my 848 (thus necessitating the FGRT 803 and TTX36 upgrade). I highly doubt that their pro-level product will do much better against Ohlins' pro-level product.

I guess I'm a dolt for thinking that following a faster rider around the race track is getting a tow. Sure, it's Bab's total aggression because he couldn't find the right line if it were in Braille. Seriously? He's only been doing this for all his seasons in MotoGP why defend it? As someone else already pointed out, Nicky was faster in QP by around .2 so it's not like Bab's has proved anything to anyone whose been watching for a while. Sure, he's got the 1st edition of the GP12 but so does Abraham and he's not out there getting a tow but trying to figure it out on his own.

1) The riders are concentrating on testing, not fast laps. 2) Pirelli is not crap in F1. They have built the tyres, at the the request of the FIA, to wear out so that tyre management comes into the race. 3) Getting a tow is as much as skill as anything else. 4) Barbara is still on the MK1 2012 Ducati. The one that Rossi rejected after testing it. So he is NOT on the same bike as Rossi. At least other sattelite teams have the same frames as the works team!!

i feel barbera does this tow business only not to become a nobody like karel abraham....fact is without tows barbera would be mostly 11th.....

you can confirm that by his race day pace....

and whats shocking is that even pramac approve of his towing business...they seem satisfied when he qualifies 7-8th (with a tow)....

again that may be just to show pramac as top ducati in front of their sponsors.....

After reading both Honda rider comments, Honda definitely had fundamental problem with the weight distribution. The new front tyre profile adding chatters to the front where they already suffered from rear during braking and corner entry.

Stoner attempt to make it work reducing increases chatters is not admirable unless he willing to spend his own money to get custom made adjustable ballast to replace the existing one fic them under the fuel tank cover. Then the weight distribution will spread evenly to both front and rear wheel under the braking.

Quite strange Honda engineers never been useful in fixing chatters since 2002.

I thought stoner is the only rider who can ride around problems? Is it the rider or the bike? As stoner fans always say, you cannot have it both ways.
