If Honda offers Lorenzo a mountain of money (which they likely will) he may leave Yamaha. But right now it seems given the overall package the Yamaha has a slight edge on the Honda. And that in itself, assuming Lorenzo is basically happy with his team at Yamaha, is a big incentive to stay. I mean Lorenzo is making millions at Yamaha, and if they are looking to give him a machine he can get in the record books with, via a string of championship wins then he will be very tempted to stay.

Yes but conversely pcx Stoner did not win a WC on Duc after 2007 and there are a lot of variables that changed which point to Duc having some kind of edge as to my mind the rest simply caught up in 2008. And as the constant bickering goes it would seem that most of the WC had the best bike when they won. Jorge would be mad the Honda last year just killed the Yam out of the turn and Stoner capitalised, agreed only 5 races in but it seems that advantaged has diminished and hey presto Jorge is out in front.

even the tech3 can be so strong
yams base develop on this bike are truly a masterpieces.
start different method with inline engine, than those Honda and ducati, not so powerfull but give awesome advantage on smooth power delivered.

I wonder what ducati and honda will do ?
Or lets start championship next year with all yams engine and frame ?
and that will be interesting :?

Not sure why Yamaha would want Dovi on their works bike, he had three years on a Honda with a single win, got third last year 9 points ahead of Dani who sat out 4 rounds. I like Cal for the works ride regardless if Dovi finishes better in points this year, Dovi proved he was no better than Haydon on the works Honda.

Lorenzo witnessed what happens when a great rider jumps off the best bike of the last decade to go elsewhere.

Rossi's reputation is in tatters and he flushed last season down the toilet - this one is looking no better. If Jorge is in MOTOGP for money alone then he might go to the highest bidder - if he's in it to win multiple WCs then he should stick with a winning formula...

Jorge is many things but STUPID isn't one of them...

Lorenzo would be a fool to leave Yamaha. It has been the best bike for the last 6 years. If he joined Honda, Pedrosa would be faster and Dovi or possibly Rossi on the Yamaha would be champion. Lorenzo fast though he is would possibly make third. Stoner made both the Ducati and the Honda look faster than they are, these are Comments made by Burgess, Nakamoto, Wilco Zeelenburg and others who really know.
