“This test has been very important because it's not easy to find the best set-up for the 1000cc bike here” - Jorge Lorenzo.

Winners are Grinners. Jorge must be thinking I have Aragon in the bag with Casey not here, like an extra day of practice before the race. Even without the new spec tyre Honda are mad to miss this. Also reinforces what Shuei said about Stoner wanting less testing days not more.

If Jorge doesn't injure himself this season I can't see him not winning the championship. He is so smooth and consistent with just the right attitude to win the championship. If he knows he can't win he settles for 2nd or 3rd.
Casey might be the fastest but fastest doesn't always win. Wayne Rainey will tell you that about Kevin Schwantz.

Hmmm KC can normally get the best set up with a minimum of laps - I think he is right, waste of time without the correct tyres, also he tends to not recover as quick as some of the other riders, he doesnt need a possibly meaningless midweek test as much as he needs the rest.

based on this years results only, Jorge is looking good for the championship, but I still have my money on Casey
once the solve the tyre problem (if they can) he and Dani should start getting better results....

@bikenut - I think Honda are trying to throw their toys out of the pram a bit to make sure everyone knows they are hard done by, more so than the other teams.

You're right though. Casey will use FP1 as a test and find a decent set up pretty quick.

However, my moneys on Jorge this season. Has been since pre-season testing, but its going to be close. :)
