This test just shows the state of the category. If you're not on the Yamaha or the HRC bike then you're not going to be competitive. Big kudos to Yamaha for bridging the performance gap between their factory bike and customer bike.

@ DB8, Jorge is certainly looking confident and for good reason
@pcxmac dont think Casey is looking that comfortable even when he wins qualifying this year and yeah he doesnt have the pace he had last year in the actual race so will be a close season.

Without doubt Lorenzo is one hell of a rider. I personally think that Casey and Jorge are as good as each other and either can win on any given day. Pedrosa is close behind them and always nipping at their heals, who can win if things go his way. We then have Dovi and Cal who are number 4 and 5 (in any order), and we 'should' have Spies right there too.

2012 has already prived to be a great season so far, and i dont mind who wins out of Casey and Jorge as i like them both.

All i want to see is for the championship to come down to the last race with the title going to whoever wins the race on that day!

We need some 'edge of the seat' action!

Jorge's old arrogance smile has turned in the last years in a sincere and self-confidence type smile. When you see him you can't help thinking he's going to win MANY world titles. Got the talent, the correct attitude and the intelligence.

For Honda, i'm sure they perfectly know what to do with their testing time. Surely they got their reasons for not being in Aragon.

Jorge wont be righting off Casey yet and neither am I,
this year is playing out different to last year for sure
but there are plenty of races to go.

This time last year Jorge had 3 seconds and 1 first and a 4th and had 98 points, Casey had three firsts a third and a DNF and was 7 points down with 91 but he finished 90 points ahead!

this year Jorge has had 3 wins and 2 seconds for 115 points, Casey has had 2 wins 2 thirds and a 4th for 95 points so he is actually doing better than last year but there is a bigger gap (20 points) because Dani has not been doing so well.

The worry for Casey isnt the points difference but the trend....

opps thanks forgot about the 4th

"This time last year Jorge had 4 seconds and 1 first"

1 first, 2 seconds and a fourth in France (which could've benn a sixth, remember the sice-Dani crash)

But truly is too soon to dismiss Stoner.
