He sure has a reason to smile and be considered the new title favourite but if, by Laguna Seca, he does not hold at least a 30 point gap on Stoner, by virtue of the second half of the season being stoners strongest he will get rolled by the Aussie.
Argue the point if you like- but as of last year
Laguna Seca - Stoner
Indianapolis- Stoner
Brno- Stoner
San marino- Lorenzo
Aragon- Stoner
Motegei- Pedrosa (Really though, Stoner looked unbeatable)
Australia- Stoner (without Lorenzo for the remainder of the season)
Malasia- (RIP marco)
Vaelncia (Stoner.....just!!)

Better not get complacent Jorge!

King Kenny said "he's probably the hardest guy I ever trained, to pass,...', ' I've trained, and worked with, Wayne (Rainey), and Eddie (Lawson), and all the good guys, and he's certainly one of them. And he's very difficult on himself'... now that says something. A genuinely nice guy with a big heart... worthy of being a Champion....

Jorges a great rider, but so is Casey. According to many posts might as well give the championship to Lorenzo now. What fun is that? For anyone? Waay too early to write off Casey.
