Yeah, thirty seconds behind... AFTER HE CRASHED AND RECOVERED!!! So, actually, a dam impressive result... TRY WATCHING THE RACE, not just trolling off other people's comments...

Crashing and then finishing 30 seconds behind the winner is anything but an impressive result.

His team mate won the race without falling off, that in my eyes is an impressive result.

The other Yamaha Riders also managed very respectable positions in the race, also without falling off. this perhaps could also be described as impressive.

Falling off your bike is not impressive, not unless you win afterwards... Ben didn't!

Just an observation

Good luck to him, I hope he puts some good results together, but I just don't think he'll have the same seat next season unfortunately, especially if a sat team member beats him in the championship

Can't remember a factory rider of a potentially winning bike doing so poorly. As much as I support a fellow Texan, I am not looking forward to Silverstone for any substantial results. I expect the weather to do him in. Again.

People seem to forget that Spies can ride in the rain. It's his confidence that is shaken. Doesn't matter what the weather is. He's gained his confidence back. I expect he will do well this weekend.

Rejuvenated?

Ok, it is fair to say that Spies has potential, otherwise he would not have been given one of the top Yamaha spots. And anyone who dissagrees can think of themselves as being more in the know than Yamaha. If Spies can gain confidence then rejuvenated is fair enough. But he has to prove this first.

Build on momentum?

Now this is a load of bull. What momentum? If anything there is a clear picture of how dedicated Spies team is. Spies has achieved very little momentum thus far. And he needs to prove also that he can be consistant with a top bike. Thats momentum.

But it sure would be nice to have another rider challenging for the win.
