Let's look back into history a bit, shall we? At another Yamaha rider, one with great potential but whose confidence was in the dumps. I recall his name, now, yes... I think it was Cal something? Horrible season he had, people calling for his head, inexplicably awful at times.

What ever happened to that guy? Anyone?

Will Motogp be a one Alien show for 2013? I hope not (so does Dorna I presume) and I hope that guys like Ben and Dani and Vale get their collective ducks in a row or it could be another Doohan era with Jorge stinking up the place by winning everything in sight.

"You should be his motivational guru.Lol Posted by there there now "
I mean...Ben's 2012 season is having diarrea, but let's be fair. In just 2 years he has been able at least on ocassions to become a nuissance to the established trinity of Dani, Lorenzo and Stoner.
Cal Crutchlow is on the same path but that's another story.
I have no doubts that the pressure of taking a factory seat has overwhelmed him but he should use Lorenzo as an example.
Lorenzo was falling, getting anxious and getting hurt on his first year at the factory, but somehow, Lorenzo matured and became racecrafty. Maybe Lorenzo was observing Rossi and learned from him, maybe he just had a good manager.

A lot of people here keep saying he doesn't deserved the factory ride this. What they don't understand is he got that factory bike from previous year performance. Now if next year he is still in the factory bike and never inproved his performance. then you can all say that he doesn't deserved it! Regardless of his perfoamce this year he earnes that ride whether you like or not.

The thing i do not get is he seems a totally calm and level headed rider, but lately he appears troubled by something and his performance just suddenly dropping off a cliff is odd, although his fight back after binning it at Catalunya was the old ben, should be interesting to see how he goes at Silverstone.

AFTER HE CRASHED AND RECOVERED!!! So, actually, a dam impressive result... TRY WATCHING THE RACE, not just trolling off other people's comments...
Posted by Nick636...I don't get it Nick-impressive is when someone crashes.?? Ok you mean impressive that he recovered. so as long he crashes , recovers and comes in 10th place is supposed to be impressive? I doubt Yamaha was impressed .
