Rossi did everythingh right but allready him the beggining of 2004 yamaha new how to make chassis and one bike.. Yamaha is Big now for Rossi and There worck..!! Since Rossi is on Ducati We wach since the star Problems on Turn the bike, Problems on making Setup, Problems with Tyre, problems with electronics with Feeling.. This bike is only rich on PROBLEMS!! 7th might be the potential of Rossi, but you certainly cant say that 7th is the potential of the bike, when 99% of people would bet their house on Stoner being able to better Rossi's results on it.
Aye and you would be living in a tent in no time! I think that you have to see how poor the Ducati is to apreciate why they are where they are, this bike is very poor! As to Stoner you say he could do better than 7th I ask the question why he was only just fourth at Catalunya on a bike that is really at the top of the order, what Rossi would do for a bike that handles and accelerates out of corners like the Honda!

Yeah, I am a Rossi fan. I was one of the original Valenteenyboppers as a 13 year old when he was 125cc champ. I'm 28 now so a little too old to be wearing all his gear, but I do like to see him back up the front.

I just don't think he needs to be coming out with stuff like that. We all know the bike is hard to ride, but not knowing the circuit is a lame excuse.

I'm racing at the Manx GP in August and so learning all 37 miles of the TT course on the DVD at the moment - now that is a hard lap to learn lol! Silverstone should be a breeze for someone of Rossi's limitless talent.

Jambob, thanks for quoting my comment that crash deleted. (So why did you delete that post mr moderator?)
EDIT by CRASH.NET:
This is not a Stoner vs. Rossi thread.
So please stop the hijacking, or more are going to get deleted.

Anyway, Jambob, come off it mate. Stoner finished off the podium once in god knows how many races and you are questioning that?

To think that Stoner wouldnt do any better than Rossi is quite laughable to be honest.

My original post was to Ammar who said that he thought 7th was the potential of the bike. Thats fair enough as thats his opinion, but the truth is that its more likely that 7th is the potntial of Rossi.....not the bike.

Stoner used to beat Hayden by bigger margins that what Rossi beats him by (when he does actually manage to beat him that is), so no one in their right mind would think that the most successful rider in the current era would not do any better than Rossi. Its a no brainer.

@ Davey

Okay, so Stoner would "maybe" average 5th behind both HRC riders, Lorenzo on the factory Yamaha, and both of the Tech3 boys. It's all supposition at the core, however, because we really DON'T KNOW where Stoner would fare.
