"Rossi's options would be limited to satellite team"

Nobody mentioned satellite bike. So there is possibility for Vale to enter San Carlo Honda Gresini and race full-spec factory bike. It would be great not only for Vale, but also for Fausto Gresini and all the fans.

But I think that if Ducati continue developing the bike in the right way, he will rather stay in Italian factory. However, one of the most important turning points will be Laguna Seca.

hmm very interesting indeed. So IF Dani is retained then who will move up? wont be Rossi i think. They keep refusing it. No Spies- pathetic performance thus far. Dovi- been there done that. Bradl- two year contract with LCR, plus why move him one year to Repsol then move him back to LCR? pointless.
So all i can see is Crutchlow....??!

Sete Gibernau was also in Repsol Honda in 1998 & 1999 on a V-twin and V4!

We don't know what's happening behind closed doors! The could just be playing down that Rossi could be going to the OFFICIAL team to keep the media hype down, it's happened in the past, it'll happen in the future! I think it'll be a really stupid idea for Honda not to let Rossi in the team as he's the best guy to challenge Lorenzo next year, they need to be serious about this! I would give Dani the other seat then move Marquez up in 2014 along side Rossi so he can learn from him!

It'll be interesting to see how this goes especially as Repsol don't want two Spanish riders!

Dani should win a championship with honda bacause he is with honda for several years, yes he is also fast and can deliver a win but for a championship he is not consistent enough.

If Honda go the arrogance way and refuse to invite Rossi then they'll be putting all their money on Marquez which won't arrive at Repsol until '14. Which might mean no championship until '15. There's no other rider currently in the championship who can fight with Lorenzo apart from Stoner and Rossi (and the latter will have to re-adjust himself to the new bike and also find new motivation, which won't happen overnight, if they happen at all).

Pedrosa is fast but only occasionally really fast, good for the manufacturer's championship but not a real title contender. He has never been such and this is not by luck, after all he's been competing with HRC since 2006.

I think Pedrosa is getting some harsh comments here, im not a Pedrosa fan, on the contary I'm a Lorenzo fan! But he is more than fast enough, and only 10 points behind Casey at the moment, if he had 6 injury free seasons there is no doubt in my mind that he would be a world champion. Not to meantion the development he had done to the RC212V for Casey to then dominate..

But lets also not beat around the bush, without the Repsol backing he wouldnt still be on that bike, and unless something changes massively in the next 18 months it will be Marquez bringing in Repsol's money not Pedrosa!

Suppo on GPone only confirmed what every other member of HRC has been telling us and that is that Rossi wont be on a Repsol bike! I also think that its looking like he might stay at Ducati, but again also feel that Lagua with the updates will be pivotal and Brno maybe a have another very big annoucement from Mr Rossi
