“We developed this whole bike around the old tyre and one third of the way through the season they've put a new tyre into it” - Casey Stoner.

the only thing to do is build a new frame around these tires.
they should already be on it now so they can use it for the last race in valencia.
.
also love that #you think you can bull$hit me# look in stoners eyes.

People seem to have short memories, Honda have been making a poor chassis for years, only recently have they got a usable version after making how many new one's in the past few seasons, lets stop blaming the tyres the rest of the field are going all right on them.

@TC .
its not about blaming the tires mate , more to do with the mid season switch.
it would all ne fine if they left the original as an option , but they didn't , knowing very well that the repsol team would suffer badly.

Isn't it really only Lorenzo that they can't seem to beat? For all the crying for respect from some riders and their fans, you'd think they'd be able to see the list of riders they can't seem to consistently destroy with their current package and 'bad front tire' is strikingly short.

@bgk.
you could look at it that way.
but if you watch the races you can clearly see the struggling repsols.
they were trying to fight off a honda satellite mate , they have been fighting off yamaha satellites all year.
one look at stoner riding is as clear as day he is being hampered badly.
jlo is an extremely good rider so its not hard to see why he is the one running free from the mess the repsols are dealing with.

why can't they give the older tyres as an option... what's wrong with them??? they shouldn't keep changing the rule only to favor some.... even these rule changes seems to be ok...but the scrapping off the rookie rule only to make marquez the repsol rider is ridiculous... rules are rules....so this isn't motogp anymore this is heading towards dornaGP.. dorna can change whatever they want and interfere in the championship... I would be happier to see marquez in a satellite team than in a factory team...

@dacron I don't doubt their complaints at all or how the new tire isn't helping. But I think any complaints are relative to the distance from the limit one would have to ride to win. Having to work hard to pass a satellite rider is part of the race. They still end up in front almost every time.

@bgk.
yes thats true mate , but stoner isn't a rider who gets stuck fighting off satellite riders.
as we see stoner still gets to the front , but what we also see is that he will never maintain a lead with these tires.
in other words he is not able to ride at his best and give a fight for the title , and everyone a good show for that matter .
its a bit like a free ride for jlo because his only real 2 challengers are not able to challenge him at there full potential.
