There is nothing that I can say about that ride that has not been said, great words from Cal, thanking the crowds and, maybe even more so, huge respect to Herve for openly acknowledging the amazing efforts of his rider.

Truly amazing. To finish in front of both Ducati's and less than 4 seconds from Spies in his condition is...well...truly amazing.
Cal let slip that after he got back from the hospital he lied. I get the impression that he was told at the hospital he had a fracture but told his team it was only sprained :)

What do i keep saying week in and week out? This guy has the largest set of jacobs in the world! Absolute legend! Can't say how proud i am to be British after acts of courage like this! Well done lad! Superb!

Fantastic ride from Cal, brilliant inspiration and fantastic entertainment. Simply finishing as the last factory-spec bike would have been an achievement under the circumstances, but he did so much more. No podium yet, but he's really come of age now.
