@Doc I will reiterate what acouple of guys before myself has said! Rossi never said anything about the 80 sec fix it thing that was Jerry Burgess, I advise you make sure your facts are right before you post!

Rossi has NEVER said anything about how easy it will be to make the Ducati work, yes he has had a small dig a Stoner in 2010 saying that he wasn't riding it fast enough but he now knows how difficult it is and there will be nothing sweeter in MotoGP to see the guy succeed!

@Realist and Codger, yes it was JB that talked about the famous '80 second fix', but im sure you know that JB was frustrated with his rider because inorder to help him acheive that fix, he needed his rider to ride closer to the limit.

No one can possible say that Rossi is riding this bike close enough to the limit if he is being beaten by his team mate 50 per cent of the time.

Hayden has been than Rossi in half of the races this season. Its been widely documented that Rossi has had to use Haydens set up inorder to 'improve'.

How many times was Ducati's previous number 1 rider slower than his team mate? Did he ever have to resort to using his team mates settings?

@codger....quote, 'Even in Casey's hands, risking crashes to give them wins, it didn't achieve much after 2007.'

Really?

So what would you class as 'achieving much' then?

If Rossi gets a few wins and several podiums this season, is that 'not achieving much' too?

He obviously has to do much more than that in your eyes to be seen as 'achieving' then?

Good luck with that Rossi.

@ Hemmy

Rossi rode that darn bike at the limit in 2011 to the tune of multiple crashes, and Hayden HARDLY beats him 50% of the time. In fact, if we look at 2011 and 2012, Hayden has only come ahead of Rossi 4 times in 2011 and 3 times in 2012 (out of 19 total races where they both made it to the line, and 2012 is still in progress). Rossi also has managed a higher podium finish than what Hayden has ever achieved (and where was Hayden during that race???). Furthermore, Rossi didn't use "Hayden's" setting. He used a "Ducati" setting. For all we know, the actual data COULD HAVE BEEN derived from settings that Stoner or Capirex contributed to.
