Sometimes the lack of knowledge on here disgusts me...some of you obviously haven't got a clue what goes on in the real world and how difficult it is to perform on a machine that is so obviously sub standard to the rest...Even Casey SToner didn't manage to bag another Championship on an awful Ducati and he is supposedly one of the best talents ever...Look at what Rossi is doing ona poor bike..Brad is on a bike that is in Ducati performance below the SUters and Kalex's..give the kid a break..I'm sure Herve knows far more than any of us what he is doing!

dont be so fkn arrogant buzz,of course we know what a rider is up against if hes not got the fastest bike, we have been watchin j rea in wsbk for a few seasons on an under competitive bike, and he rides the wheels of his to get a result,or makes a good fist of it,looks as if he tryin hard, and hes much better than smith

Herve's last 4 signings :
Toseland (WSBK champion)
Spies (AMA champion)
Crutchlow (WSS champion)
Dovizioso (3rd in MGP2011 after Stoner & Lorenzo)
all pretty safe bets really. Which makes Smith's signing even more puzzling after only 3 wins in 125 races.
Mistakes can be made - witness Toseland - and the move up could do Smith a lot more harm than good.

Why the hell is Bradley Smith even being considered for a Tech 3 seat? He's yet to win a single Moto2 race in 2 years, and hasn't been higher than 7th this year. Yet he's already been signed to Tech 3 for 2013? What kind of **** is this?

No offense to Bradley at all, but shouldn't you have to EARN your seat in MotoGP? I've seen nothing to suggest he's even come close to earning either of the seats currently occupied by Crutchlow or Dovi.

Utterly ridiculous.

So over the pommie commentators on Moto2 TV coverage raving about Bradley Smith dicing with himself for a mid-field finish. A consistent top3 finish in Moto2 ALL SEASON or forget it. Is he buying his rides?

I've made the same point several times in the past, but the armchair afficionados still keep banging on about Smith being no good because he isn't in the top 3.

Herve rates him, Scott Redding said his bike clearly looks difficult to ride, my own observation (and I have raced) is that the bike struggles to turn as quickly as some others. I'll take those opinions over armchair boys every time.
